Its duty is promoting a better environment for business operation. The principle of corporate governance is one of many codes that used to perform the task. However, authority design these codes for references rather than an obligation. Therefore, a corporation can choose to follow or ignore it. Based on different culture dimensions introduced by Hofstede and Schwartz, we can determine the corporate governance system of an individual culture. We also analyze how culture exists inside of the principle of corporate governance OECD by using Hofstede culture model and the relationship of culture, corruption and corporate governance. |
