Abstract: 
Social media is one of the most popular means of communication in the modern world that has diffused rapidly in diverse directions. The incorporation of social media into organization which is called “Enterprise Social Media” (ESM) has impacted the traditional channels of communication as well as the habits and actions of employees. However, the use of social media for internal communication is not yet recognized adequately, its adoptions for organizational communication need further studies and researches for broader perception. Taking this into account, this paper will find whether deploying ESM can positively improve internal communication.
The results indicated that as a new channel of internal communication, ESM can really enhance the interactions and communication between employees and organizations. It builds enterprise social connections which are the glue that connects all employees at all levels to collaborate with other
