The data analysis involves the use of IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 and IBM AMOS software, applying regression models to analyze and interpret data collected from a sample of 105 inhabitants. The study identifies eight key factors that directly influence residents' behavioural intentions: attitude towards waste separation, subjective norms, perceived behavioural control, waste separation knowledge, laws and regulations, access to knowledge, incentive measures, and past behaviour. Among these, subjective norms are the most influential in predicting individuals' intentions, followed by attitude. The laws and regulations factor is merged into waste separation knowledge. Of the eight factors identified, only perceived behavioural control has a negative impact on residents' intention to separate waste, while the remaining factors have positive effects. Past behaviour is found to have no significant impact on waste separation intention. The study’s results may provide policymakers with a more comprehensive understanding of residents’ willingness to separate waste. |
