dc.description.abstractThe semiconductor industry faces increasing competition while aiming to maintain product quality. This research focuses on improving quality control across the entire supply chain, from material shipment to manufacturing stages, by leveraging big data analytics. Traditional manufacturing processes primarily focus on product quality, but this research extends its scope to include quality management throughout the supply chain. The goal of the thesis is to enhance the quality control of incoming materials by applying data analytics in the semiconductor industry. The research will include a comprehensive introduction, literature review on big data analytics and material quality controls, and a detailed methodology covering current state analysis and data collection. The ultimate aim is to provide insights into how big data can optimize quality control in the supply chain.en_US
