On the other hand, some drawbacks gradually reveal their threats. The education sector is a good example of this duality. While these AI tools have helped students gain access to information at an unmeasurable scale and personalized their learning process, it appears that the linguistic, sophisticated, and comprehensive content of AI tools’ output has caused a heated topic for experts and educators about authorities, integrity, and plagiarism. In addition to this, what would the students' perspective be like in Vietnam, where AI technologies arrived before there were particular laws in place to provide constructive guidance for the integration of education and technology? This paper will discuss the history of AI in education, its development steps through time, and why generative AI has gained so much influence in the education industry whereas AIEd research has yet to generate a widely utilized product. Then, by comparing the knowledge gained from these searches with the study's discovery from a survey sent by the research team, the results show the impact of GAIs as well as the interests of Vietnamese students. In short, the experimental results point to a potential direction for researchers seeking to improve education |
