Title: Evaluated the effect of using MM-AM technology on producing orthotic insole in comparison of commercial insole

Abstract: 
In this study, analysis and evaluation of the impact of applying multi-material additive manufacturing (MMAM) to custom orthotic insoles take precedence. The effect is represented by the duration of fabrication, the amount of material consumed, the compatibility of the materials, and user satisfaction. The introduction will provide a brief overview of additive manufacturing (AM) and multimaterial additive manufacturing (MMAM), as well as the rationale for replacing conventional technology with MMAM. Then, the literature review will provide an overview of orthoses and orthotic insoles. Similarly, AM and MMAM procedures as well as fused deposition modeling (FDM) display all relevant variables. Traditional footprint capture process and insole production provide information on the advantages and disadvantages that can be improved for the evaluation. In addition, 3D scanning processes are provided to illustrate the digital procedure commonly used in AM. Information on the mechanical and thermal properties of orthotic materials, including EVA and TPU, is provided to support the compatibility of different materials. To expand the picture of the insole industry, additional commercial
insoles are added. The working material must contain all of the materials necessary to carry out the procedure. In this dissertation, a commercial insole will serve as a scanning model and reference for the final product's properties. During the research, photogrammetry will be used for 3D scanning, and a multi-material FDM printer will be used for printing. To demonstrate the effect, the final product will be compared to a commercial insole in order to identify the issue. In order to evaluate the efficiency of MMAM in the production of
insoles, all obstacles encountered during the research will be closely examined.
