Title: | Driving and steering system for agricutural UGV | Authors: | Le Thanh Thai | Keywords: | Steering system;Agricultural UGV | Issue Date: | 2023 | Abstract: | This thesis presents a comprehensive investigation on the design and development of a highly efficient driving and steering system for an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) suitable for agricultural use. The primary objective of this research is to identify the optimal motor torque required for seamless and cost-effective movement and steering on deformable agricultural terrain. To achieve this goal, the methodology involves analyzing the interaction between the wheels and the terrain, and the results of the study are utilized to develop a prototype UGV. The thesis concludes by presenting the performance results of the prototype and offering suggestions for future enhancements. The work presented in this thesis is a valuable contribution to the development of UGVs for agriculture and has the potential to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of farming operations. |
