Title: AI-driven techniques in advancing the field of psychology
Authors: Le Duc Nghia
Keywords: AI-driven techniques;Psychology
Issue Date: 2022
Abstract:
This thesis explores the development of an AI-powered chatbot for providing mental health therapy and support in Vietnam. As Vietnam continues to develop economically, interest in addressing mental health challenges has grown, evidencing the need for effective solutions. This project aims to leverage artificial intelligence and natural language processing to create an empathetic, personalized chatbot that can engage in meaningful conversations and guide individuals towards emotional well-being. The methodology utilizes tools including PyCharm, Tkinter, Hugging Face, OpenCV, Kaggle, and Poe to incorporate capabilities such as image and voice sentiment analysis for detecting emotions, along with tailored conversational prompts focused on mental health support. Together, these features enable the chatbot to offer users an intuitive, responsive, and supportive experience tailored to their unique needs and situation. By providing customized assistance and promoting positive coping strategies, this chatbot holds promise for making mental healthcare more accessible and assisting with depression in Vietnam
