Title: The importance of the firm’s ESG performance in attracting and retaining Vietnamese gen Z talents

Abstract: 
The emergence of ESG importance has raised a huge concern not only for current corporate stakeholders for sustainability strategy, but also in the stage of attracting and retaining future talents aligning with this value. This study aims to demonstrate to what extent the next labor force – Generation Z, acknowledges and evaluates Environmental, Social, Governance activities, exclusively on the scale of Vietnamese Generation Z’s employees. In addition, the paper will indicate the relationship between the young Vietnamese’s ESG-related behaviors and specifically, recommend the set of actions to current employers who want to impress and create a competitive recruiting advantage. An online experiment will be provided, with the analysis of descriptive research approach. The results turned out a positive link between Vietnamese future employees and ESG activities, resulting in a huge potential recruiting strategy for organizations. Social elements were the most appealing factors of the Vietnamese Gen Z recently, followed by Governance transparency and Environmental solutions. There were certain distinct ESG evaluations across particular birth years. Despite time constraints and Vietnamese Gen Z sample limitations, this study would significantly benefit, add some initial thorough insights as the foundation for the same research topic. Future proposals should include a bigger sample of Vietnamese Gen Z, create more meaningful survey questions and measurements and intensively implement ESG-related relationships with the young working tendency
