Title: Vaccine passport using the NFC card
Authors: Nguyen Cuong Phat
Keywords: Vaccine passport;NFC Card
Issue Date: 2022
Publisher: Vietnamese-German University
Abstract:
Since the Covid-19 appeared, significant applications and technologies were applied to keep the pandemic under surveillance. All these applications have one thing in common is that: they are used for smartphones, which raises a new issue in society “How about people who do not own a smartphone?”. To handle this issue, the Vaccine Passport project will focus on using the Near Field Communication card (NFC) instead of using smartphones to be a vaccine or covid-19 passport for traveling and going out.
The Vaccine Passport project has two separate websites, and it uses ReactJs for the front-end. For the database, the project will use the cloud computing service provided by Firebase to store data in the cloud, and there will not be any effort in building the back end. Each applied technology and implementation will be described in detail in this paper.
