This paper will be focusing on evaluating the signal transmission of the LTE (Long Term Evolution) standard. The experiment testbed includes two National Instruments Universal Software Radio Peripheral (NI-USRP) 2954 devices and two host computers that are available in the VGU lab. Each different modulation with different parameters comes in a wide variation in signal generating and transmitting. The experiment will be conducted base on a sample project within the LABVIEW Communication Design Suite program which is also a product of the National Instruments company. Using over the air transmission, various modulation technique and coding schemes will be used. The whole point of the experiment is to come up with an overall assessment of the LTE standard transmission in different scenarios. Throughout the experiment higher modulation and coding scheme orders result in higher data rate with larger channel bandwidth. Transmission quality is also validated in the program.en_US
