Title: Experimantel study on ignition and fuel injection control system for combustion engines
Authors: Phan Quang Minh
Keywords: Experimental study;Fuel injection control system
Issue Date: 2020
Publisher: Vietnamese-German University
Abstract:
The study attempts to investigate the working principle of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) focusing on Automotive Sensor, Fuel Injection and Ignition Control in Gasoline Engine. In addition, engine parameters are also considered to determine the engine characteristic. The final result is to understand the relationship between automotive electrics and automotive electronics in combustion engines. In order to accomplish the objective, some hypothesis were set. Speeduino, an Open Source DIY, was used to stimulate or in other words, substitute the original Electronic Control Unit (ECU) by manufactures such as Honda, Toyota, etc. Speeduino was then applied to the Honda EMC Car, a project from VGU Team for Honda EMC competition, to testing its function and so guarantee its compatibility in the practical use. Besides this, a model of Fuel Injection and Ignition was built to stimulate the working of combustion vehicle and thus study the effect of operating parameters to engine characteristic
