There are a lot of fish farms all over the country, both in natural and artificial environments. Quality of water plays an important part in aquaculture. To monitor water quality, fish farm owners usually take water samples and analyze them periodically offline. The water quality is analyzed manually to ensure suitable safe environment for humans. In order to monitor and control water quality in fish farms automatically, this work studies the M2M technology and how to apply the M2M into the monitoring water quality solution. Firstly, water parameters will be measured by sensors. These data are collected by controller and transmitted to a server through GSM/GPRS/3G modem. Subsequently a website will display online all data as water monitoring system. The project focuses on most important parameters which need to be monitored such as dissolved oxygen, pH, and temperature. |
