Keywords: Cloud computing;Small and medium enterprises;SMEs
Issue Date: 2014

Abstract:
One of the top priorities of technology investment in IT industry is presently cloud computing. Cloud computing has become pervasive as a result of the multiplication of Internet, broadband, mobile devices, better transmission capacity and mobility necessities for end-users although it is not a new concept at all. In this paper, the perceived propensity of SMEs in cloud computing and its benefits is concentrated. This paper presents five factors impacting to the usage of cloud in this business community, where their necessity and requirements are not similar to large companies. Firstly, cloud computing gives not only the benefit of security, privacy but also the reduction of cost. The third factor is also the biggest favorable factor is the ease of use and
convenience. Because SMEs do believe in cloud service quality, the fourth factor reliability is regarded. Ultimately, SMEs would prefer using cloud for sharing and collaborating with their internal and external parties to utilizing their traditional techniques.
