dc.description.abstractThe entrepreneurial orientation (EO) is seen as an important way to make business strategies and measure the close correlation among entrepreneurial activities. The EO model usually includes five dimensions such as autonomy, innovativeness, risk-taking, proactiveness, and competitive aggressiveness. In order to increase more practical, this study adds up networking as sixth independent dimensions. The aim of study seeks a positive relationship six dimensions of EO with firm performance of Vietnam Small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Textile and Garment industry (TGI). Firm performance consists of sales revenue, growth rate, financial target, new customers, and satisfaction of performance. Of 146 companies with various ownerships from economical hubs were surveyed. Regression analysis outlines the dominant impact of proactiveness and autonomy on firm performance. Other independent dimensions are less strong but they are also certainly influential. This paper presents discussions and recommendations. Although, the study focuses on TGI SMEs, it is a useful reference for policy-makers and researchers in other industries or services in Vietnam.en_US
