Abstract: 
The study objectives are as follows:
- Recognizing that student perception is an essential part contributing to their participating in any online course, this research attempted to identify the main barriers from the perspective of students on taking an online course.
- Examining whether student characteristics have remarkable influences on the student perception of barriers to online learning or not.
- Understanding the student concerns about the different types of barriers and their importance, the research can provide evidence-based information on the subject. It can help service providers focus on removing potential barriers, and then more students are likely to use this modern and efficient form of education.
