Along with the rapid industrialization, in order to well manage the environmental and social impacts, sustainable manufacturing development is essential. Currently, it is unclear that if any standard methodology for problem solving with focus on sustainability is applied by Vietnamese manufacturers. The goal of the thesis is to explore possibilities and adaptability of gap analysis into problem solving in Vietnamese industrial environment in order to promote sustainable value creation. The review is based on the architecture for sustainable manufacturing and methodologies in close cooperation with a manufacturing company in Vietnam. |
