Issue Date: 2017
Publisher: Vietnamese-German University
Abstract:
First, there are still a lot of failure products or parts during manufacturing despite the process and method guideline have been developed and reworked many times, a new approach with Define phase of DMAIC is able to solve this. Secondly, some failures do not have good detection method tool and those are quite severe (metal sheet in the product…), therefore a new method could be developed to overcome these problems. Moreover, the old and traditional manufacturer had few of application of six sigma to achieve the best result, they were dependent on out date method of quality control which still have some impact but wastes do not reduce effectively. It is critical to build a system method which could apply completely to shoes production and can be taught easily worker and quality officers. The promising project could bring a new cheap but effective method to control the quality of product which is rare and not feasible in Viet Nam shoes industry.
