In the global market, the emphasis in improve both quality and efficiency to fulfil their stakeholder’s satisfaction has become a crucial task for every company within. To cope with these challenges, Detmold Packaging Company has facilitated automated equipment, which helps ensure a high production rates, productivity and efficiency in use of materials… However, due to a wide ranges of input materials, when replacing different input, machines need to be re-calibrated, the output quality of the machines is not consistent, which wastes a lot of raw materials. In worst situation, these machines need to be stopped to adjust or fix causing quantity lost, labor-cost for overtime or delay in finishing date. Therefore, this thesis focuses on implementing a systematic tool to enhance the overall performance and effectiveness of the processes. | en_US |
