Abstract: 
In this thesis, clear tasks are set to adapt the general objective:
- Literature review on the current situation of 3D printing technology, and an overview of traditional and heuristic optimization methods.
- Design testing specimen according to ASTM D638, then implement practical task
in printing testing samples using 3D printers and carry out measurements for different objectives as weight, printing time and tensile strength of products.
- Identify parameters for products with optimal tensile strength by Taguchi optimization method.
- Create and evaluate mathematical model formulating trends of objectives, and then develop multi-objective optimization with Genetic Algorithm (GA) using Matlab software to generate trade-off optimal solutions among weight and printing time for the most efficient production.
