Although the notion of competitive balance has been surfaced since the beginning of sports economics, researchers have never stopped studying its effect on sporting contests as well as its subsidies. This paper aims to analyze the effect of several subsidizing methods such as the design for individualistic contests, the promotion and relegation system, the revenue sharing arrangement, the use of foreign players in nation leagues and the rookie draft regime on the competitive balance. Each structure’s influence will be inspected using various models from different articles.en_US
