The development in fingerprint recognition technology also has been developed for very long time. Therefore, the method is strong and effective. The purpose of this thesis is implementing one of technologies in fingerprint recognition to create a program that could identify an unknown fingerprint with an existed database. In the thesis, Poincaré index method is used to extract core point, which is one of the most important singularities of a fingerprint image, and the classify method is described and applied to classify fingerprint images into classes, The method to extract minutiae, a local unique detail of the fingerprint, is explained with detail and support methods such as enhancement method and thinning technique are presented Aik ftitichine method, matching 1:1 and matching 1:N, is the next stage of fingerprint recognition after analyzing a fingerprint image, and will be carefully described with results. After the method is explained and implemented, an evaluation of the program will be made in other to justify how robust is the program and identify the errors and explanation for errors. |
