dc.description.abstractWind energy generation system is an interesting topic related to renewable energy and power electronics. The main aim of this project is to investigate and simulate dynamic and transient characteristics of wind generation system using DFIG. The progress of conducting this project begins by studying and understanding general knowledge of the DFIG, dynamic loads and different short circuit faults. We use Matlab Simulink software to simulate the operation of DFIG based wind turbine system. The system operated as expected and we achieved many simulation results.en_US
