This μC will create the input signal for the circuit and receive the response signal, output signal will be measured and the ADC in the μC will convert it into digital value before sending it to the computer through RS-232 Com Port. I use Matlab to draw a characteristic graph of this control circuit and calculate the time constant, the gain also. So that, with a small μC, we have a useful and moveable oscilloscope. Although, with 10 bits ADC, the μC cannot provide the result exactly like the oscilloscope but the accuracy could be acceptable for works that does not need the absolute result. Before testing the circuit, I used Matlab to simulate the control system with Matlab Simulink and used this result to compare with what I have with the testing system. With some simple control circuit that I tested, the characteristic expressed is the same |
