Luckily, I have change to work with NAO robot. In my project, I will present my knowledge about NAO Hardware and the software used to control him. Some NAO apps from simple to advance also introduce in this thesis. About hardware, we know that NAO is a very modern robot; therefore, NAO has many technology devices on his body. For instance, NAO have 2 HD cameras, 4micorphones, 8fouces sensing resistor, 2bumper, 2 sonars, internal center, Intel Atom 1.6 GHZ CPU, etc... About software, NAO app can be build, debug, and run in a software which was create for NAO, its name is Choregraphe. Choregraphe is a multi-platform application, it allow us to create application and behavior or test on the simulate robot. If you don?t have a real NAO, Webots will help us to work with a virtual NAO on computer. In my thesis I will focus to guide to create an application for NAO robot. For different purpose we need different applications. NAO app can be simple or complicated based on user purpose. The method to create new app also depend on the purpose of this app, if we need just a simple app, we can use the box in boxes library and combine them follow our ides, but for an advance app, we must have basic knowledge about keyframes, state machine and Python programming language. In this thesis I focus on 2 animations I write for NAO, they are play soccer and bring an object to me, these animation have many step and they also need a basic knowledge about Python programming language and Choregraphe, some other simpler applications also present in this thesis |
