| dc.description.abstract | In this report, I tried to write a whole package which has similar use as Gmapping. The purpose of this package is to enable the robot to localize itself without the given environment. The map, which is used for robot environment, will be created by the scanmatching algorithm (which is taken from the other package) in the same package. The Rao-Blackwellized Particle Filter algorithm which is executed as an approach for SLAM problem in Robot Operating System (ROS), is used as the robotic platforms. ROS file system is similar to an operating system and has a lot of advantages compared to others such as capabilities, tools and so on. This report will explain briefly about the ROS and the detail of Rao-Blackwellized Particle Filter algorithm and the implementation on the computer. | en_US |
