Title: | Architecture and hardware/software working module development of a booking system | Authors: | Pham Dinh Khoa | Keywords: | Self-payment washing machine;Booking system;Mocroprocessor | Issue Date: | 2016 | Publisher: | Vietnamese-German University | Abstract: | The demand of having some kinds of public washing machine is very high in many guesthouses and hotels in Vietnam. People still have to hand-wash their cloth or send them to the laundry which are usually far away and a little high cost. The idea of an automatic and self-payment washing machine came up to us. This hopefully will make an innovation in the future of laundry industry. This report describes a system of a regular washing machine placed in the local motel in Binh Duong. The add-on which is the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) scanning end online managing system makes it different. Because it's hard to move a messy system like that, a prototype will be shown in the actual performance in VGU. The whole project consists of two main parts, first is RFID scanning and power managing. The second part is data gathering and managing via Wifi, furthermore on Internet. This report focuses on the second part- internet communicating and managing. I have researched on many systems and finally decided to choose the ESP8266 WiFi module for this project. The reason is for the range of a prototype, a medium microprocessor is the best choice thank to its ease of use and low cost. The amount of data transferred per day is quite a little therefore using any kind of large system makes increase the power consuming as well. An Arduino is also used to handle the RFID works and simplify the signals from the sensors. In the prototype, a 220V ,mini-pump for aquarium is represented to the washing machine, a simple flow sensor is used to measure the amount of water consumed. Some more small circuit like DC relay. indicating LED and OLED screen are used to visualise the stages of the working process. In my purpose, the system will be really simple but fairly stable. The reliability of the system is seriously considered |
