dc.description.abstract | Traditionally at many universities and schools, their library management systems are designed with barcode scanner for tracking books information which is still the old way to manage their library. If the librarian wants to inventory the whole system, they need to check book separately. This is really waste of time and effort for the librarian. A big system with thousands of books will be a different task for people to manage and statistics. A new type of tag, RFID method, is the new way which can inventory books a lot faster than the original way. RFID reader can scan multiple tags at once, which is a lot more effective than barcode scanner to scan one by one. C# language is used to design the display window application form and My SQL Workbench to build the database system. Multiple computers can work together by sharing LAN network. | en_US |
