In recent years, with the extremely rapid development of electric devices due to the influence of the technological revolution, the demand for batteries has increased exponentially (Walter et al., 2023). Most of this demand for batteries serves the electric vehicle manufacturing industry, whose products are considered an environmentally friendly alternative to internal combustion engines, which use fossil fuels as a fuel input. The higher the need is, the more batteries are produced and consumed. However, after being exhausted, these consumed batteries will become an enormous source of battery waste. As a result, environmental pollution from the disposal of battery waste is becoming increasingly evident and directly threatens human health.en_US
