| dc.description.abstract | The evolution of distributed systems has presented formidable challenges in optimizing communication and performance, particularly within the context of microservices architectures. This research delves into the intricacies of enhancing communication efciency in distributed systems by leveraging gRPC-based microservices coupled with response caching reverse proxies. With the proliferation of microservices architectures and the escalating demand for high-performance applications, the need to streamline communication among these services becomes increasingly imperative. The research investigates the integration of gRPC, a modern and e!cient Remote Procedure Call (RPC) framework, in tandem with reverse proxies fortified with response caching capabilities. This amalgamation aims to address the challenges posed by inter-service communication bottlenecks, thereby elevating system responsiveness, scalability, and resource utilization. A comprehensive literature review underscores the significance of optimizing communication within distributed systems, highlighting the pivotal role of gRPC and the potential e!cacy of response caching in alleviating communication complexities.
