Early diagnosis and intervention are crucial for improving the developmental outcomes and quality of life for children with ASD. This study investigated the insights into which determinants influence autism diagnosis, aiming to identify key factors that contribute to the accurate and timely detection of ASD in children. By understanding these determinants, the study provides a foundation for improving diagnostic practices. Additionally, this thesis explores the application of various machine learning models, including traditional classifiers, neural networks, and hybrid techniques, for the classification of ASD in children aged 4-11 years. Afterward, the performance of these techniques is assessed through various metrics and analyses to evaluate their effectiveness in ASD classification. The findings of this study offer valuable insights into children from 4 to 11 with ASD and offer a foundation for applying innovative machine learning methods for improving autism spectrum disorder early detection and intervention approaches |
