dc.description.abstractThe thesis studied the fundamental knowledge about Application Programming Interface (API), Testing, and their relationships in the Software Development Life Cycle to get the answer for why API is trending and API Testing is essential in Software Development. Incorporating research from technical news, papers, reports, and my own experiences as a Senior Tester at an out-sourcing software company, this work presents what is the tendency of communication between components in a Software system, and the popular methods to test it with how to use those methods correctly at the foundation level.
