Title: | A study into system design: a GPT-powered virtual interviewer application | Authors: | Hua Nhat Gia Nghi | Keywords: | System design;GPT-powered;Virtual interviewer application | Issue Date: | 2023 | Abstract: | In an era where effective job interview skills are crucial for professional success, this thesis presents a novel solution aimed at improving users' interview preparedness. Recognizing the challenges individuals face in honing their interviewing abilities, we designed and implemented a web application dedicated to providing comprehensive, interactive, and personalized job interview practice. To achieve this goal, an application is proposed and implemented where users can input various information related to their job opportunities. In return, the application generates a curated set of interview questions. Answers are submitted in video form, where users’ facial expressions, speech prosody, and content are meticulously analyzed to provide personalized feedback and recommendations. This holistic feedback mechanism aims to empower individuals with the insights needed to hone their interview skills, ultimately contributing to their professional advancement in today's competitive job market. |
