Title: The modern data stack with AWS: Empowering enterprises
Authors: Nguyen Thai Minh
Keywords: Big data;Modern data stack;Amazon web services
Issue Date: 2023
Abstract:
In today’s fast-changing world, data has become a priceless resource that rivals traditional resources like oil, labor, capital, and land. "The more information systems are used, the more data will be collected, both in structured and unstructured data, which is often called Big Data". Nevertheless, the effective management and derivation of enormous volumes of data sets pose significant obstacles in today’s data centric era. As a countermeasure to these complications, the Modern Data Stack has evolved as a disruptive solution that offers scalability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, transforming data management processes. This document aims to explore the significance of the Modern Data Stack with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a leading cloud provider. The study explores the development of data management systems. It also draws attention to the limitations of traditional techniques and the benefits of cloud solutions and provides an overview of some services in AWS.
