dc.description.abstract | In recent years, E-commerce is a global phenomenon. E-commerce emerged and evolved rapidly, causing a change in consumer behavior. Besides, a sales trend existed many years ago, but recently businesses have applied that model in their business strategy, which is Direct to consumer. The reason why businesses have recently applied that model to their business strategy is that E-commerce has created the foundation for applying that model. However, when businesses apply that model, it causes conflicts with distributors. This thesis paper aims to study conflicts that occur between businesses and distributors when businesses adopt the D2C model through a qualitative approach. A case study of Cocoon and an interview study also be conducted for finding the solutions for conflicts | en_US |
