dc.description.abstractVibration control is an important field to study on many mechanical components, aiming to increase safety, lifetime, or comfort for the user. Thus, the vibration must be controlled, and in many cases, reduced. In this thesis, the vibration of a scaled component of a wind turbine would be damped by Particle damping with granulated rubber, and the effectiveness will be evaluated with a Laser Doppler Vibrometer.en_US
