dc.description.abstractIn an ever-changing world of digital technology, various equipment makers in factory area are accelerating the development of integrating IoT technology into their products. Taking advantage of this trend and the Lean manufacturing approach, the managers of Suzuki Vietnam factory has wanted to digitize their production management system starting from transforming unreliable human data collection and statistics of the Andon and Poka-yoke system to automatic data collection and versatile statistical reporting system. The existing solution in the today Vietnam market for this demand is not minimize cost approach since whole new package is required to invest. A big expense in factory improvement activities is always a barrier for spending in decision of digital transformation. In my research for this Master thesis, I will develop a low-cost data acquisition and analysis system of production management system. By modeling all the existing processes and analyzing those process models to optimize the additional hardware in the data collecting system and aligning the Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to develop analysis web application for the stakeholders of factory management team who use the statistical reports from web app to optimize production line. The final step that I would take is to evaluate the efficiency and user satisfaction with this developed system.en_US
