This paper aims to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on international relations related to the ASEAN countries. Accordingly, the first part will display the global outlook and how COVID-19 has transformed the world with a change in consumer behaviour, a historic drop in the oil industry, and a slump in international trade that leads to a change in international relations. Rising in December 2019, COVID-19 expanded globally and rolled the death toll in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) since March 2020. Despite the late outbreak, the ASEAN economy had previously collapsed along with the international market. It is a connection point between Asia and other regions, so the shock with negative impacts is obvious. Thus, the second part will provide a view of damages caused by COVID-19 and its response. There are changes in ASEAN policies and other trading activities to adapt to this current crisis. Last but not least, the final part will address opportunities for one of the most prosperous countries in fighting against the outbreaks - Vietnam. It is just a tiny country in South East Asia, but the Vietnamese government has imposed incredible policies to prevent national health and its economy.en_US
