This paper is accomplished by reviewing main factors such as supply and demand volatility, which addresses how safety stock can assist the supply chain in boosting product availability, or replenishment policies, allowing a manager to have a clear vision for decision-making during one time as well as multiple times ordering. Besides, numerical examples are calculated to demonstrate how those defined factors impact on safety stock management. The outcome clarifies apparently the question: How to manage the safety stock efficiently and economically?.Furthermore, most of the thesis is mainly based on Chopra and Meindl property: Supply Chain Management: Strategy, Planning, and Operation.en_US
