| dc.description.abstract | This paper analyzes the relation between social housing indicators and income inequality in Vietnam. I derive three indicators of housing access as characteristic of social housing which are affordability, quantity and quality. The explanation and supporting data prove that social housing can represent higher access to decent dwelling of low-income households. Empirical study of the relationship between social housing indicators and income inequality suggests that: 1) affordability of social dwelling can help to reduce uneven relative income distribution; 2) the relationship between quantity and quality of social housing and Gini-coefficient is ambiguous. | en_US |
