Title: Electrical design and control of a robot arm for injection molding machine

Abstract: 
Nowadays in the modern industry, innovation takes important roles in the development. In fact, one of the most leading ways is apply the automation into processing such as industrial injection molding machine for specific. Instead of human labor as main part of the process, the automated robot is applied. Our project is to make the robot arm which is to replace the operator and to communicate with the molding machine to make the non-human system. Take the full advantage of robotics provided companies with speed, exactness, and efficiency, the swing arm robot are realized. Area of the project included all part of the robotic arm (working area, tool selection, etc.). The prototype is compared with other similar robot arm on the market and gain following goals:
- Low price with the fully functions as the on-market products
- Durability with PLC control
- HMI screen with information and friendly-user interface
- Smoothly operating between movement and rotation
With several times of testing, the robot arm has fulfilled the requirement for a robotic use in industrial with very low chance of stopping and pausing during operating. In conclusion, although the arm needs further development in the future. This project was successfully studied the potential of a robot arm for specific to help FRAMAS Company Ltd to replace their human resources of moving plastics out of mold.
