Abstract: 
This is an exploratory study of job satisfaction determinants in the Vietnam service sector. Through qualitative desk research and in-depth interview methods, this paper assesses the current state of literature and seeks industry experts’ perspectives on the factors that influence job satisfaction. This research also intends to explore the differences in those factors between Vietnam and other countries, together with various ways to improve the satisfaction levels in the Vietnam Service sector. As a result, a standard set of determinants is introduced, and the importance of salary, interpersonal relationship and supervision is highlighted. Company owners, managers, human resources executives, and everyone interested in employee behaviors could benefit from this study
