Abstract: 
In this work a real-time object detection algorithm shall be implemented on a computing cluster (representing edge processing) and a single node (representing mobile device) by using a raspberry PI and a camera in combination with selected inference hardware. Then the differences as well as pros and cons need to be evaluated from the perspective of a user-application.
