Title: | Development of an innovative model for the improvement of fabric and thread embroidery manufacturing processes improvement according to lean and ISO 9001:2015 | Authors: | Pham Trong Nghia | Keywords: | Innovative model;Manufacturing process improvement;Lean manufacturing | Issue Date: | 2016 | Publisher: | Vietnamese-German University | Abstract: | Current trends in the global production management impose new requirements on textile companies, especially the industry of manufacturing decorating fabric and thread which are used in embroidery in terms of reducing costs, waste of materials, and adverse effects on environment, simultaneously increasing the quality of products. Originating from automotive industry, lean production systems have already proved as an effective mean in various domains. Therefore, in this paper, we examine its suitability for production processes of decorating fabric and thread which are used in embroidery. In addition, applying the basic tools of quality management (Q7 and M7) in managing the production processes and the quality of these products, as well as developing a set of guideline to assist companies specializing in manufacturing decorating fabric and thread which are used in embroidery in reaching ISO 9001:2015 certification. We present results from 3 months research and experimentation at DAI AN TEXTILES COMPANY LIMITED, in which we integrate Lean Production Systems into production processes of decorating fabric and thread. And proposing the feasible model of factory in this field which can reach ISO 9001:2015 certificate. |
