Implementation of Operational excellence is selected by Bostik worldwide to deal with this challenge. It is the cornerstone to earn Customer`s loyalty and achieve growth and profitability targets. It will enhance overall performance and provide a basic platform for sustainable development. Apart from increasing products quality and services, adoption of Operation Excellence also benefits the companies in terms of company safety, credibility, operation effectiveness, regulation compliance, which in turn secure customer confidence and increase profits. Bostik Vietnam, a typical small size company, which products are manufactured in-house, is on the way of implementing Operation excellence as a part of their global strategy and objectives. The thesis aims to analyze existing company‟s situation in term of the quality culture, Bostik operational excellence rules (BOX rules), continuous improvement/ Lean culture, theory of constraints, Operational leadership guideline and standards. All of this are consider operational excellence in Bostik. The steps of implementation operation excellence in Bostik Vietnam are analyzed in order to assess the gap between the current circumstance and Bostik`s worldwide requirements of Operational excellence standards. Some return of experiences (REX), and suitable solutions for Bostik Vietnam to achieve Operational excellence will be proposed, actions have to be described, responsibilities and resources are defined, and relevant documents are modified and/or created to train employees. |
