The methodology is to use a digital processing device which can be a microcontroller to process signals from measurement instrument and send out stripping signal to corresponding actuator whenever the system encounters fault conditions. The results of this thesis show that this prototype of digital protective relay can detect, locate and iso late the faults faster and more effective than DC fuses. |
