Title: | Design, fabrication and testing of prosthetic leg | Authors: | Nguyen Thai Binh | Keywords: | Prosthetic leg;Fabrication;Design | Issue Date: | 2023 | Abstract: | This thesis produces to fulfill the requirements for the Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's Degree at the Vietnamese-German University. The goal of this project is to design, fabricate, and testing of a prosthetic leg to create a prosthetic. The Leg design was initially built as an initial model, followed by optimization in Topology Study, and then rebuilt as a validation model using the graphical reference provided by the Topology Study's outcome. In Solidworks, CAD modeling is created. Based on a structural statistics study of the design carried out by utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to comprehend the stress and displacement distribution throughout the designs. A prosthetic Leg is usually costly and uses expensive material. This project will emphasize this problem of the prosthetic legs by focusing on a design that uses simple engineering mechanics and alternative materials for knee prosthetics. |
