Title: | Green marketing implementation as a potential and sustainable marketing strategy for developing countries | Authors: | Tran Thi Thanh Truc | Keywords: | Green marketing;Developing countries;Sustainable development | Issue Date: | 2023 | Abstract: | Fluctuations in the world economy and alterations in the environment of corporate social responsibility are two factors that are putting pressure on managers to incorporate sustainability into the performance of their marketing mix. Traditional marketing methods are only able to solve some of the problems in today's marketplaces. Because of this, a fresh marketing approach emerged: green marketing. Marketers are constantly working to identify new opportunities and risks that the environment in which they operate presents, as well as trying to understand the significance of routinely evaluating and adjusting their strategies. In this era of globalization, customers are becoming more aware of environmental issues like pollution and the warming of the planet. Green marketing is a phenomenon that has developed as a vital concept in developing nations and has acquired significance in modern markets. This development can be attributed to the fact that green marketing has earned status in modern markets. It is widely acknowledged as a crucial tactic for the purpose of fostering sustainable development. The study's primary purpose was to investigate and analyze the effects of green marketing on developing countries. The backdrop for the implementation of green marketing will be provided in this article, including the concepts, meanings, and dimensions involved. In addition, the paper discusses the current market status when it comes to implementing green marketing, how the green bond market is developing, examines some reasons that make organizations interested in adopting the green marketing philosophy, and explains the opportunities and challenges that organizations may face when applying green marketing. |
