Title: | Development of a stimulated model of industrial robot integrated production line in shoe manufacturing industry | Authors: | Nguyen Cao Thang | Keywords: | Stimulated model;Industrial robots;Production line;Shoe production;Footwear industry | Issue Date: | 2018 | Publisher: | Vietnamese-German University | Abstract: | SHC is the first pioneer to apply industrial robots in shoe manufacturing industry, with persistent goals and specific strategy to become the most reliable manufacturer in the region, SHC plan to apply robot and automated production line shortly. With that purpose, SHC needs to step by step approach of advanced technologies, modern machines, and automated systems. To achieve the purposes which are automatized the production lines soon over SHC’s factories, it needs to create a firm foundation of knowledge of automation for SHC’s employees. Therefore, a professional training system is created to teach SHC’s employees about an automated production line is built up. Notably, the familiarity of employees with the robotic knowledge, automated programming and components are essential, so the project of the simulated robot arm model was kicked off with the primary purpose is training for employees of SHC. Although there is a cut to box and stock fitting automated production line in Robot campus with three automated robot arm station, it could be used for direct training for employees, but training activities usually lead to disruption and effects to the production operations. Thus, the development of a simulated model of an industrial robot integrated production line is necessary and meaningful in support of the training activities for the SHC’s employees. This activity aims to provide them with an overview of robot integrated production lines such as how robot arm works, how conveyor, machine and industrial robots integrate into a production line. The Objective of this Research is to build up a simulated model of robot integrated production line which could provide SHC’s employees in brief training of integrated robot production and create a knowledge foundation for the application of robot integrated production line in SHC’s factories soon. The overview of the thesis works: the thesis is divided into four separate phases. In the first phase, we design two conveyors, and buffing machines then assemble them in the system. In the next phase, we assemble and program a robot arm by using Matlab Simulink knowledge and Arduino programming. In the third phase, we build a database system by using Thingspeak ICloud and Wemos D1 R2- Wifi Arduino board. At the last phase, testing, validating and valuation is necessary to evaluate a system model. After that, giving conclusions and futural plans. |
