dc.description.abstract | A blockchain appears as a promising paradigm used to transfer digital durable goods across user in a peer-to-peer network without necessary of central authorities. While its most promising implementations, Bitcoin and Ethereum are proven its effectiveness in management cryptocurrencies among public, permissionless participants in Internet, a study about new permissioned blockchains with identification services used inside a private network regarded as replacement for conventional applications has never failed to draw public attention. The goal of this research project is to acquire insights both permissioned and permissionless blockchain and then evaluate their maturity level when applying concepts into practices by two sides: technical and business. This research consists of listing similar crucial components and characteristics that a current blockchain systems offered and compare with a new business-oriented permissioned model, Fabric. Result is lead to in-depth understanding blockchain solutions, their properties, ontology model, advantages and disadvantages, as well as useful enhancement made by Hyperledger projects in order to facilitate business demands. Besides that, a proof-of-concept is developed as a clear evidence for blockchain capability in being suitable replacement for current applications. Moreover, the search for maturity of Blockchain application in business based on various aspects is achieved through discovered values, contributions, difficulties and solutions. The research represented in our thesis is regarded as reference documents can be used by business leaders when business model transformation is taken into account and technical architects in studying insights of new technologies. | en_US |
